Dalai Lama Found Guilty of Religious Persecution

dalai_lama_guilty
The below message is from a reliable source regarding the Dalai Lama’s court case:

As per information received from the High Court of India, New Delhi, I am told that there was a recent hearing on the Dorje Shugden case on the 14th of September. This was the 3rd hearing in response to a riposte that had earlier been provided by the Advocate of the Dalai Lama–that too, after a lapse of 9 and a half months, precisely speaking!

The 3rd Judge in question, unlike the 2nd, had expressed reservations and unwillingness to dictate a ruling-as a decision–but, on the contrary, was also open to the redressal of the affair.

This Judge dismissed the Dalai Lama’s arguments as unconvincing, further asserting that there was sufficient documentation of evidence available to prove that the Dalai Lama was in fact and indeed persecuting followers of the deity Dorje Shugden and that this would have to cease henceforth.

A notice in this regards would be sent to the Dalai Lama as a warning to desist. Notwithstanding which, the Judge declared, that punitive measures would be initiated, would the Dalai Lama not restrain from his actions of religious persecution.

Apparently, Dharamsala is mysteriously silent, and this is not new! They are probably contemplating on the next course of action–whatever it may be. The Tibetans are a beguiled lot. It is possible that they may contemplate peaceful and violent means–or, on the contrary behave as if nothing has happened!

The Dalai Lama Gets Trumped by Al Jazeera

Al Jazeera’s People and Power has named ‘The Dalai Lama: The Devil Within’ one of their top two stories of 2008. As a result, Al Jazeera is now featuring it along with a story entitled ’Trumped’ which is about Donald Trump trying to build a billion dollar golf course in Scotland. The two stories have nothing in common, but it is wonderful that Al Jazeera is once again drawing attention toward the Dalai Lama’s religious persecution of Shugden practitioners. After the first day of being posted on Youtube, the story had around 1,000 views. Hopefully the video will continue to attract a lot of attention.

Here’s the video:

10 Questions for the Dalai Lama

10 Questions for the Dalai Lama

1. Why do you deny that you are enforcing the ban on Dorje Shugden when there are videos of your speeches enforcing this ban?

2. If you are truly an advocate for human rights, why do you issue identity cards which make it extremely difficult for Shugden practitioners to get food, water, shelter, medical attention and travel visas?

3. Why do your followers view you as the Buddha of Compassion when you engage in such harmful actions toward your own people?

4. If you are truly an advocate for nonviolence, why don’t you ask your followers not to engage in violent actions toward Shugden practitioners?

5. Why do you teach your disciples that the heart practice of a Buddhist is reliance on the Spiritual Guide while you are having the thrones and images of your own Spiritual Guide removed from monasteries?

6. Why do you lie about Dorje Shugden, saying that he is a evil spirit harming the cause for Tibetan Independence when you have said that you are no longer working toward Tibetan Independence?

7. Why have you expelled over 900 monks from their monasteries for practicing what their lineage gurus have been teaching them in their monasteries for the last 350 years?

8. Why do you claim that you are following the example of the 5th Dalai Lama, when it was the 5th Dalai Lama who made the first statue of Dorje Shugden that can still be seen?

9. Why don’t you stop lying?

10. Why don’t you give religious freedom to Shugden practitioners?

Conversation with a Tibetan Western Shugden Society Supporter

Below is a quote from a new article on the Wisdom Buddha Dorje Shugden Blog:

Now that they are bringing in the signature campaign and destroying our lineage even here in America, I have nowhere else to run to. When you know that they are destroying your lineage and killing your Gurus, you have to make a stand. I have no choice. I don’t care if I myself die. Of course, I am worried about my wife, children and mother. But I have taken out life insurance so then I don’t need to worry. Many of these people here don’t have a wife or children because they used to be monks until they were expelled from their monastery and home.

Message to the Dalai Lama

Heartfelt requests from Buddhist practitioners around the world requesting the Dalai Lama to listen, hear and consider the suffering of Shugden practitioners due to his ban of their religious practice.

Dalai Lama’s Stance on Nonviolence

Is the Dalai Lama really a champion for peace and nonviolence?

In 1996 followers of the Dalai Lama stoned and hurled insults at Dorje Shugden practitioners in Southern India. If the Dalai Lama really was a man of peace and nonviolence wouldn’t he ask his followers to stop their violent actions toward Shugden practitioners?

Instead of asking his followers to stop the religious persecution of Shugden practitioners he says:

There will be no change in my stand. I will never revoke the ban. You are right. It will be like the Cultural Revolution. If those who do not accept the ban do not listen to my words, the situation will grow worse for them. You sit and watch. It will grow only worse for them.

The problem is that in Tibet most people shun those whom they think the Dalai Lama wants them to shun. -TIME Magazine
