AboutWSS.org – Am impressive convoy of 8 coaches and several mini buses stopped traffic in the seaside town of La Baule today as police escorted hundreds of Shugden practitioners to a march for freedom along the town’s esplanade.

The United States Constitution was adopted in 1787, by the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia. The Western Shugden Society took advantage of all of the first ammendment rights granted within the constitution (freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of assembly, and freedom of petition).
The Western Shugden Society will continue to organize protests wherever the Dalai Lama teaches until he gives freedom of religion to Shugden practitioners.
Around 3,000 people, from almost every country in the world, have signed the petition to the Dalai Lama asking him to give religious freedom to Shugden practitioners.

To the Dalai Lama of Tibet,
We the undersigned ask you to accomplish the following four things:
- To give freedom to practise Dorje Shugden to whoever wishes to rely upon this Deity.
- To stop completely the discrimination between Shugden people and non-Shugden practitioners.
- To allow all Shugden monks and nuns who have been expelled from their monasteries and nunneries to return to their monasteries and nunneries where they should receive the same material and spiritual rights as the non-Shugden practitioners
- To tell the Tibetan community throughout the world in writing that they should practically apply the above three points.
